Wow, I mean WOW, what's wrong with google for gods sake?

    These websites:

    http://www.smesolutions.co.uk - had PR5
    http://www.bpmstudiouk.com - had PR4
    http://www.audiotrak.co.uk - had PR4
    http://www.smewebsolutions.co.uk - had PR2

Now they all have 0 PR...

How is that possible and what's wrong?? What could of happened that these websites got so F-ed up ?

    EDIT: I just noticed it today, I checked few other websites, http://www.minstrelsrest.co.uk - still has it's old PR2, http://www.sunlust.net - gained PR, was 1, now it's 2

Google strictly views the content and visitor entry...

I've quickly analysed the first site for you.

It has about 300-400 backlinks to it, so if it had PR5 before then it was very lucky. Quite a few of the backlinks are from inner pages of the same domain.
A quick search shows that the highest backlink you have is a PR2. Thats not going to get you a PR5.

Do you mind me asking how much traffic you get from it? I am just guessing its low because of the high Alexa rank. It can never be trusted these days though.

In the case that is it low, then you should not be worrying about things like PR. You should be getting lots of good backlinks to get your SERPs up.

higher PR will then come as a result of the backlinks.

Well, it's old content that isn't linked to from anywhere on http://www.smesolutions.co.uk
I'm waiting for Google to drop it from it's index

I get a low traffic =) Just as you guessed.
Problem with getting backlinks is that it's a company website, I don't know how to get good content on it...

Thanks for calming me down tho, much appreciated, hope I won't get fired after my boss sees his all PR gone.

But how come that it was so high on EACH of these websites and suddenly it's gone?

No idea, but I would put it down to just luck. A lot of people work getting thousands of links to get a PR5. Your site has just 300-400.

Can I ask why your boss would be angry at the PR dropping? Its not going to affect anything in terms of traffic.

My advice is just when u got a PR0 after google dance just move on and create more website beside then mumbling about it and give up on nothing will defeat u, stay focused stay positive and move on with life, invest more on content and domain name.

Its just a number :p nothing to get too worked up about.

Tell your boss that he should be concentrating on getting higher in the SERPs for your website keywords. You probably know from when it was PR5 that a high PR doesn't reflect in high traffic and lots of money.
