I too would be interested in learning more. I don't need the whole package, I would just like someone experienced to point me in the right direction so I can learn through trial and error on my own.
What good does that do if I hand you a campaign on a silver platter? You may make some money but you wont learn a thing. It's about the process to getting to those winner keywords that is what makes affiliate marketing so amazing. In Affiliate Unleashed, I will be giving out keyword examples and stuff but again, Instead of giving you a fish, I'd rather teach you to fish.
Thats why i said that i need the keywords only. I already have everything else. I don't know why the others ask for keywords also, when they don't know what to do with them
Excuse me for not having read the whole thread but are these figures your profit or total revenue? I think you should state whatever your profit is. If you made $3000 for example and spent $2000 then its your first $1000 day. When people get to their first $100 a day on Adsense mostly their traffic is for free so its all profit. I think you should compare it directly. I could just as well say I made $100 today by paying someone $100 to give me a $100 bill.. I don't doubt your success and congratulate you for that, I just think its misleading that all these 'my first $xxx day' in the affiliate programs thread are always misleading compared with similar posts in other forum categories.
Well that's not the point is it? The error is in the subject title. He says later on its about 40% profit so in fact its a "$1200 day" and that should be the subject title. I just find these posts misleading compared with the "$300 day" posts in the Adsense forum for example.
Well if you must know, I've actually had over a $3,000 day in profit just recently but I've been keeping it on the down low till I posted it on my blog (I still have not but I will be soon). But then again if you really want to get technical, let's factor taxes in there as well. Thanks, Jonathan I know! We're just making sure everything is perfect. I hate releasing a half put together program. It'll be worth the wait!
Is it the profit you are after or for the sake of learning the secret of making that much? Don't tell me you are so damn Jealous
The point is for you to read the whole thread before you post something. Or you can stick to the AdSense section.
Its not being technical at all, you're basically spending $2000 and the revenue is $3000 so you're earning $1000 a day. I just find with these kinds of PPC earnings for some reason no one factors in the costs until someone asks how much. Its like its not even important. I'm speaking from the perspective of the original post and its title. To be honest I'm not really picking on yourself and don't want to dumb down your success because its amazing of course and it seems you've jumped to even higher levels since. Its just that everyone seems to post like this, they just post their revenue which doesn't seem to quite make sense. The conversion rate is the most important thing. Going by this logic we could have two threads posted here; one with the title 'my first $3000 day' and another with the title 'my first $2000 day'. The first guy however is spending almost $2400 per day to get this amount and the second guy is spending $1100. So guy number two is actually earning more and in my opinion doing better. If they both posted their actual profit earned in the beginning it would save any confusion and not mislead anyone in the first place. But instead we have two pages of congratulations until one smart guy thinks to ask how much is actually being spent..
In Russian it sounds like " naebalovo ". Unrealistic figures, but if they are, I am really impressed.
And by 2 pages, I guess you meant the very first reply? hasen, we understand the difference between revenue and profit. We understand that big single day numbers in affiliate marketing usually means a lot of PPC costs....but, he obviously wouldn't run around boasting if he lost money or only made 10-20% ROI. Hell, even if he had only achieved 20% ROI (which is very low in affiliate marketing), he still would have profited $500, and that's still something to be proud of...Not a good profit margin, but still good money. He never said "I Profited $3k Today!" ...Anybody who knows anything about affiliate marketing can look at that screenshot and just assume that a good bit of it went towards PPC costs.
Wow Volks!!! You are a Super Affiliate... Congrats on your recent successes!!! The more you inspire... the more you will succeed!!! It's only natural!!!
Thanks guys! Come February I'm going to be posting my monthly totals and also my new records. Thanks, Jonathan
