Anchor text

I think the most interesting is to make links with keywords better than the anchor link.

 

It is a myth and completely false. However, as said by everyone a good anchor text will help.

 

No Google won't penalise for things like that, however if you have several links all within a short time all going to the same domain, might raise their suspicions

 

@OP: if you would have to buy an ebook would you search for "xyz ebook" or would you search for "someebookwebsite.com"?
think it and that's your answer.

 

you should choose your domain as an anchor only if it is a Branded domain that people are looking for. if not then use keywords

 

Anchoring a keyword for a link is the best option.

 

Use the link on keyword is called anchor text.
