    when I add my site to a directory, should I have the same anchor text for each?

    I think its probably better to make few variations of same meanings. It probably looks more natural to Google

    using anchor is always a good option, it gives credits on SER'ps

    Try and mix up your key phrases with a 2 or 3 variations, or more. And 2 or more different descriptions.

    Having all your anchor text the same is a good indication that you are using 'unnatural' linking, and that's something that search engines want to weed out.

    That should be easy. Just add 1 or 2 other descriptive words. But always include that 1 main keyword.

    50% of your links could contain just the 1 keyword and the other 50% split between a few variants.

    It is best to use different variations of keywords in an anchor description.
