I am trying to target "cityname county jobs" For instance, if i do link devel and would use this anchor text instead "cityname county jobs - name of the job agency" will the name of the agency dillute the anchor text in the google's eyes? or should i just target "cityname county jobs" ? without the name of the company? This question is being bothering me for awhile! Basically if you add extra keyword like a company name in the anchor text link, will it effect the ranking? The reason why i like to have company's name is for marketing purposes, let's say the people will see the link and they will also remember the name of the company. What do you think?
yes i agree. if you are targeting a certain keyword or keyphrase you should focus on that. when you try to put more keywords on it, it will lessen the likelihood that your link will be shown by search engines.
just use the keyword!! company name is not that much important since if you rank high n get traffic on your site on the keyword you are targeting, your company is at a profit automatically
