I run a Toyota Forums. It covers all Toyota cars and I managed to make some sites deeplink to its sub-forums with terms like: avalon forum avalon forums toyota avalon forum camry forum camry forums toyota camry forum .other toyota models with term "forum" in anchor text .other toyota models with term "forum" in anchor text . And so on. As you can see, my anchor text are varied but they are all contain term "forum" Do Google see this as spammy?. Thx!
