    Hi

Think this is the right section.. sorry if it isn't

Basically, I am trying to replace some links with anchor text links. The code I am using is along the lines of:

    <a href="http://www.blahblah.com">click me</a>

My question is do some websites / blogsites not allow anchor links?

In all of the ones I have tried so far, instead of giving me a link based on my keywords, it simply shows the html code line in the signature. Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks in advance

In some sites they do not allow html code in the signature part, that is why it is showing all the code as simple text.

Another point can be that the signature cannot be html but it will accept bb code, if so then you will have to enter the same thing in bb code & it will work...

In some websites html code is not allowed in the signature part, thats the reason it is showing all code as simple text.

Signature links are very useful and you can use them to improve website link popularity.

If you are talking about blog sites that are powered by wordpress for example:
    Name
    url/website
    email
    comment

Name and url is what you would want to use for your anchor text.
Name - My Keyword Anchor text
url/website - your actual link of course.
comment - a nice friendly comment so you get approved.

After it is approved the name you entered(your keyword anchor text) if you hover your mouse over it will be your link. So even though the blog does not allow html in the comments you use the name part as your anchor text.

Some blog sites will deny it if it looks to sales/spammy so look around first and see if others are using only names or names that resemble keywords. Or use a name that is a keyword for your site, but more simple so the site owner would still hopefully approve and allow it.
