I have looked on other threads to see if I could find an answer, couldn't so here's a new post.. Buying Links on US sites for UK businesses in some industry sectors is done purely for the SEO, not really for the traffic, as often a US citizen would'nt be able to buy/ship/benefit from the UK site... The reason we buy on US based sites is that as mentioned on another thread, I think there's only one company that sells links on UK sites..no trouble for over the pond sites... Now I have illustrated the above to illustrate below why I may be waaaayyyyy over thinking this, just focusing on [any] SEO benefit, as there really isnt any point for some UK sites to attract real US/Overseas human traffic by naturally writing anchor text: Consider anchor text made up with 4 words: "main_reallycompetitiveword1 , often_found_pairedwithword2, alsosometimes_pairedwithword3, andrarely_pairedwithword4" will the SE's work out that the linked page might be about "word1 'with' word3" or other permutations..and does the keyphrase desnity/prominence come into play.. Or is it more benefical having separate links for word1 + word2 word1 + word3 Thanks
