Hi Folks, I after search terms "mitsubishi forum" and "mitsubishi forums" . My anchor text combination is as follow, all are incoming links from different sites Mitsubishi Forum - 15 links Mitsubishi Forums - 10 links Mitsubishi Car Forum - 7 links MItsubishi Car Forums - 6 links 4 links to inner pages Am I doing it right?. Should I add more incoming links to interior pages? Thx!
CoolCow, there's not a whole lot of traffic associated with those keywords. I understand your niche will not generate boatloads of traffic, but maybe consider targeting something else like car forums, sports car forums, import car forums, etc. Just tossing some ideas out there. Here's a free Windows keyword research tool. Just click on "main keyword" and enter your keyword. Click ok, then "gather results." This will give you the top 100 keywords associated with your main one. Below is what I found for mitsubishi forum. mitsubishi eclipse forum 22 mitsubishi lancer forum 9 evolution mitsubishi used online forum 7 mitsubishi forum 7 mitsubishi lancer forums 7 magna mitsubishi australia forum 6 mitsubishi electric 121 tft forum 6 mitsubishi lancer discussion forum 6 mitsubishi forums 4 mitsubishi gto forums 4 mitsubishi challenger forum 3 mitsubishi evo forum 3 mitsubishi evo forums 3 mitsubishi galant forum 3 mitsubishi outlander forum 3 Make your your links target the keywords that are going to bring you traffic. And try to match sub forums, in your forum, to those keywords that will bring traffic. You can use social bookmarking to get deep links or links to your inner pages. For directory submissions, just link to the main forum unless it is one of the few that allows deep links. Check my signature for some free directories and social bookmarking sites... Good luck!
snowbird i just downloaded that tool, it looks handy, do you know where it gathers its results from? Thanks by the way.
It gets the keyword data from free wordtracker, then gets the competiting page results from Google and Live/MSN. The last time I looked, it did not pull competition data from Yahoo. For a free tool, I find it handy as well.
Not bad at all, its a nice little tool i had a quick go of it, thanks very much for posting it here, can see it being quite handy, free too.
