Anchor Text Changed In Directories

I'm having problems. Due to the fact that good domain names are hard to come by, I'm having problems with my anchor text being changed when I submit to directories. My site is recordingreview.com. While the name is easy enough to remember, almost no one is searching for recording review.

The site is not exactly where I want it to be from aesthetics point of view, but the content is growing quickly. I'm learning Joomla now and will be changing it in a few weeks.

Anyway, I'm guessing that if I change the logo from "Recordingreview.com" to "Home Recording" maybe I could get the anchor text I'm looking for (which is "home recording).

Are there any other tactics to get the anchor text you are looking for from directories? I assure you that the anchor text I'm going for applies to my site even more than my actual domain does.

My directory accepts the name of the site plus three keywords in the url. For instance you could put something like "Recording Review - Audio Recording Information". We also have plus listings which give you an extra four links that can be any key phrase you want embedded into a full description making it pretty darn good from an seo perspective. Down side (from your perspective) is that its paid submission.

You can submit to my directory: www.linknow.co.nz with a recip link and select whatever title and description you desire. Plus, you can automatically edit the anchor text whenever you want too! :)

How much for a non-recip link?

I generally don't consider link trading worth my time.

You can advertise on my Photography site for $49.95 or $99.95 (these are special prices for DP Members):
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=59699
More details can also be found by clicking on the Advertise link in my signature. You can get the Gold Listing for $99.95 and Silver Listing for $49.95.

At Link Now, I am currently working on a Paid Listing option. It won't be much though, only $19.95 p.a. Although the payment page is not set-up, the paid link functionality has already been set-up and I can organise this for you. PM me if interested (payment by Paypal).
