    Roman, If you get a BL with an anchor “apple” from a site that is ranking #1 for keyword “apple” you will rank high for that keyword , so what else is new?
    Relevant link from the relevant site, was that a big secret 3 years ago ? I don’t think so.

    I'm sorry, I may be missing something, but does this theory mean that you do the link-building for some subsidiary sites, which in their turn link to the main site, without building links for the main site proper?
    It would be nice if you clarified this one for me.

    Sorry, but I don't think so. Page rank is also related to relevant content. It is better to link similar sites to gain PR.

    Well thats always valid while counting number of backlink and then also counted as how many anchor texts are pointing as backlinks, thier counts. good way of explaining it

    Well page-rank is just a numerical representation of the number of incoming links that you have from trusted sources (the more trustworthy, the more weight they carry, and link love they give). However, to rank really good for a particular keyword, you should have incoming links whose anchor text reflects that keyword as well as that keyword represented (although not too artificially) on the actual page itself.
