How do you weight keywords vs site name in anchor when submitting links ?

I suppose it would be correct to use site name a lot because that would emulate a natural link pattern.

Well, there are a lot of links on the web like "visit sitename here"
    or "visit sitename"

This is natural ways of linking to other sites so these things should be taken into a linking strategy.

I prefer to use sitename instead of keywords, when i buy featured when i submit links i can use keywords as much as i want. For example when i submit my site phpldyoursite.com i use PHPLD Your Site. And when i want to use both sitename and keywords i use PHPLD Your Site: Free phpLD Templates.

The trick is to have the major keyword in your natural title ;), so be sure you got the perfect domain name

I think they are talking about the theory though. I really don't know if Google can think its more natural. That's what we wish. Or overestimating Google's technology..

I guess if your sitename has no keywords then its best using keywords/phrases in the anchor. Unless your sitename is very popular, people will reach it by searching for keywords, not your sitename.

Well to me keywords make more sense. Well there are few reasons for it.

    1) It will improve your ranking for that keyword, coz ultemetly ppl will be searching that keyword rather than your site.

2)Its like tagging your site for a particular keyword. And ppl love tagging, thats why sites like digg.com or del.icio.us or strumble upon are so famous.
Because ppl like to save links according to tags...

So i guess using Keywords for linking is more benificial.

No. PR measures link popularity only, and achor text has no effect on PR.
