Hello there! One of my customers is considering to create an affiliate program. The catch is that he is not willing to use services like CJ or CB as this will be a rather test project. Here is my question for you: How would the perfect affiliate program look like in your opinion? For start I have already thought of replacing the type of program giving out links like somesite.com/?ref=xxx with something like somesite.com/xxx Also the program will have to pay commisions for sales only. He has enough traffic, it is the conversion ratio that must be improved. The site is basically selling a service, so the transaction should take place in an instant. Keeping these in mind, what advice would you give to me? Thank you in advance. Regards, George
Can you give more details on the service being sold? As for the "perfect" affiliate program (if it exists), it would have to appeal to both the vendor and the affiliate - there are pros and cons to each. If you're looking for a card processor + affiliate solution, have a look at eSellerate; here's a few of the features. * full template customization ability * card processing + paypal too * affiliate program enabled * sell any type product or service * vendor's name appears on customer's CC report * superior support * no start-up fees - free to try * they pay your affiliates * affiliate payments are guaranteed * their cut is about 10% Check out our site and see how we integrated the shopping cart; also, as for a linking option for long affiliate links, see the custom link generator we added to our affiliate support page.
Well it's a service that offers unemployed people the opportunity of sending their own resume to recruiter companies in the area they want to find a job. It also features an online form that allows a user to create a professional CV. Can you offer me a link to this service you're providing. It looks very interesting. If you don't want to post the link here, send me a PM. Best regards, George
Hi George, The company's link is situated bottom right on our shopping cart; eSellerate. If you enter into dialog with them, ask to speak with Dan Davis and tell him I referred you. Cheers
