Analyzing a few domains and their value

I've been dipping into web development and management since 2006 but just recently been interested in the buying and selling of domains. What intrigues me is how much others are willing to shell out for non premium names in my opinion. I am on Godaddy.com right now and as I am typing this

    Blogsforbush.com has 48 bids up to $704.
This is mind blowing for me that someone or several bidders would pay this much for this name. Bush is no longer in office but the search term does reveal 50,700,000 results on Google. Does that mean XX million results fetch you a $XXX domain?

    Diningindetroit.net has 25 bids up to $480.
This site is the top result of 3,380,000 results for "dining in Detroit" on Google. Still a dot net this detailed fetching nearly half a stack? Regarding a luxury market in a city hampered by the recession? Meanwhile off the top of my head I looked up Eatindetroit.com which was not registered.

    Eatindetroit.com
6,850,000 results on Google. A little SEO work and I would think this goes to the top of the search results.

Is dining in Detroit that much more valuable of a phrase than eat in Detroit that someone or multiple people would pay $480 instead of $10?

Can someone verify that this is in the range of how much domains generally go for? If you have a domain with an accompanying keyword/phrase with XX million of search results, what is your likelihood that it can sell for $XXX?

I suppose what you have posted above is really good. But your domain names worth as much as real customer is ready to pay for them.

I am really surprised at the bids quoted by you. It appears some people are just eager to lay their hands on it for end use or... are simply jacking up prices to fool others!
