Hi All First timer, so hello and thanks in advance for any help we run a saas booking system where clients have there own websites which then link to their booking system which is hosted by us on our own servers. Very often clients do not have a sub domain, so when their customers click 'book now' and come to our hosted solution, the domain changes. Is that a problem for any of the analytic reporting? we also currently have one ssl certificate that is used that is in our domain name rather than the domain name of the client. HTTPS kicks in when customers register and complete the booking......could that stop full analytic reporting? Thanks Dan
I cannot see there being any issues with that setup and configuration Analytics only records specific pages and flows You would also need to load all the Domain Names to be monitored These would be seen as exit paths, but you can monitor each on its own
many thanks for the reply do you mean that our domain should be added to the clients analytic account?
I've not tried the code in an external website Try it and see what happens I have used the code in both http and https for the same Domain Name, and there is no issue; all pages show up However, the code in any sub-Domain Names does NOT show up
