Hi guys so I have this website which I constantly update with new content. But my problem is that Analytics seems to say I am getting almost no traffic a day, whereas wordpress stats states that I am getting 50-70 visitors a day. WP stats shows me I get a couple of visitors after I post a new article, and it even shows me getting traffic from keywords on yahoo that I can see. Whereas on Analytics it only shows the 1 keyword that I am not ranking for. The problem is that I know that more people are going on my website than what analytics states as it shows up as how many people are on the forums etc... So which should I trust? I mean WP has shown me that i am ranking first for several long tail keywords, and that I am getting traffic from them so it must be more accurate. What do you guys think?
Analytics are good for search rankings (or could be bad if you don't get tons of visitors cause some say analytics can hurt your rank but I use it and have a PR4 site although I get over 8,000 hits so I guess I helped my rank) and I am not sure about wordpress stats because I never used it unless it's already embedded in my site but I guess not.
I do not like word press stat because there is no flexibility like you can not change the settings, if you want remove local system visit then you can not in WP you can see obly visit keywords that sit which very bad....
That's right, because there some plus and minus So you must combine that tools for max your analytics
I think wordpress or Joomla or any comparable system always counts more visitors than Google Analytics, not sure why, I assume they don't exclude bots and may count the same visitor multiple times for some reason, anyone else has an idea about this?
