Analytics suddenly stopped working

As of yesterday evening I can no longer access my Google Analytics Dashboard, etc.

First sign of trouble was an error indicating that it couldn't access my cookie.

Now it doesn't give the error and just takes me to the main Analytics page, asking me to sign up.

Have I lost my cookie? If so, how do I get it back?

Coincidentally, I signed up for the AdWords freebie yesterday, could that have caused the problem?

    Thanks.

They've just slightly changed the UI of the dashboard. I guess the problems are temporary, due to the upgrade.
Try to log in a few hours.

I would just clear all your cookies and cache and then attempt to login. Also, if you signed up with different usernames for different Google services it will effect your cookie and give you login errors and signup prompts since it's not the username you signed up with. :)

Yes I agree with ssandecki. Just try clearing your cookies and cache and it should resolve any login issues. You could also try logging in with a different web browser. My analytics has been working fine all week.

Try to login in your analytics account via different browser and see if something is wrong with your PC or not. If you use IE then try to login using Firefox. If the problem is not solved, then try to contact Google Support here.
