Analytics & Site subdomains

Traffic to my personal blog has escalated lately and I wanted Analytics to tell me why. I use the old Analytics urchin script and just found the new script which tracks subdomains [better?]. My blog is on a subdomain.

My question-- the old urchin code did not seem to track subdomain data or maybe I did not know how to access it within the report setup. Those of you that have switched-- are you able to track your subdomain stats better.... I only changed one area of my site and before I change the rest want to get feed back?

    Q...

When you setup your Analytics, current version has the option to choose "One domain with multiple Subdomain" option (You will see that button after registering a new account). From that just following the instruction to implement the javascript to your site.
