I am sure a lot of you are using Google Analytics on multiple sites. I am wondering what is the way you have yours set up? What I mean is... you start with creating an Analytics account at the beginning, that requires your email address and your first initial site to run it on. OK now, when you want to use Analytics on another site, do you guys use the drop down box on top in the bright orange bar and select, Create New Account or do you use Add Website/Profile at the bottom of the page within your first initial listed site?

It does the same exact thing I believe, it just looks cleaner when you set up New Accounts for each. Let me know?

I use "Add Website Profile" which allows me to see all sites together and quickly switch between them all.

In each account you can have up to 50 profiles. The options you can apply are Add a Profile for a new domain OR Add a Profile for an existing domain. More here, explains it a little better.

Milk your profiles for all they are worth...experiment. If you are running any PPC create a profile, apply a ppc|cpc filter on it and focus in on PPC traffic only. That's just one idea. The other MUST is setting up goal funnels.

Once you create an account go down to:

to add new sites or multiple profiles per site.
