I've been so close to my page view limit in Analytics that I have not been tracking certain pages on my sites. I know that in order to have the page view limit lifted on my Analytics account, I must be an "active" AdWords user according to Google. What does google define as "active" ? I have an AdWords account under the same Google Account as my Analytics that I've spent money on in the last year, but nothing recent. Could someone explain Google's policy about the Analytics limit and advertising on AdWords to me? EDIT- Solved my problem. The solution may be found here. It turns out you need to have an active campaign with a budget of at least $1 per day. I posted this in case anyone ever has this question, searches the forum, and comes upon this thread.
I honstly wouldnt worry about it. Ive seen some accounts with over 5million impressions and google has said nothing. I know the page your talking about, its on google australia and I couldn't find anything on the google USA or google Ireland pages. Pierce
I have analytics accounts that are not linked to adwords accounts and I have never seen this? Can you post some screenshots? Remove all your private info
It is well known that Google has a 5 million page view cap on Analytics accounts. And it's for all sites put together, not just one. To remove the limit, you must be an active AdWords advertiser. If you look at the link I posted in my original post after I edited it, everything is explained.
http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?answer=55476 It is a 5 million page views per month cap. The url also says that the minimum to be 'active' is $1 per day.
