I set up my new website, http://www.elusivemusic.net/ a little over a month ago, and added a site map and other details to Google Webmaster Tools, and set up an Analytics account and added the code to my page. Webmaster Tools is working fine, and correctly showing stats and indexed pages etc. Analytics however refuses to display any statistics whatsoever. When I first installed the code, I was having some issues getting Google to detect it, so I moved it to the <head> of the document instead of the <body> (as per the Help), and then it was being detected correctly, but it still wasn't showing any vistors. I did some research and discovered it sometimes takes a few days for them to show up, but I've now been waiting over 4 weeks and still nothing! Has anybody got any suggestions? Thanks, - Elusive
If installed properly, it doesn't take much time for analytics to update the data, sometimes a few hours will be enough. I prefer the code to be just before the closing "body" tag, and haven't experienced any problems doing so yet. By the way, did you notice that it is difficult to read your website content? I don't know, maybe your visitors are happy with this.
your tracking code placed wrong. you have to place that code script just before to closing body i.e </body> . You can refer "no-refresh.com"
