   I want to give away content but I wanna track where it goes, let's say I give someone a article in HTML, can I place some kind of traffic stats code in it to see which domain uses it and other stats?
   
   Or what other tool is there I could use to track where my content goes?

   Doubtful... you would need to embed JavaScript and the person copying it probably isn’t going to include that.
