Analytics for every page..Please help!

I have a website and analytics code has to be inserted in every page of the website. I did that but I dont get to see detail results for every page of my website like traffic sources, keywords, map layout etc. and so on rather; Google analytics shows all those details for the main page only.. and a little about the remaining pages....

so.. does this mean i have to add a complete new code for every page of my website..

    please tell or help me!

usually you just have to put in the tracking code into every page (preferably just above </body>)

It should then track the pages seperately

Are you sure you put the code in correctly?

Yes. Google will only track each page where the web code is inserted into.

Like mentioned above, put it preferably directly </body> and every thing should work fine. Some people like to put them anywhere and it leaves a little gap on their pages, so it's best near the direct bottom of the page.

yes i placed it right at the bottom of every page.. I m saying is that i want to view detailed analysis of evry page. google has found those pages ..i want to know the keywords for which my easch page was searched.. the traffic sources for each page and so on...tell me the way maybe i don't know!... or as i said earlier

so.. does this mean i have to make and add a complete new code for every page of my website rather than the original code given for a home page?..

No, it should all be in your analytics report. Try looking in Traffic Sources -> Keywords for google searched keywords that accessed your site and for page stats go to the Content section

Content Section shows pages that get most visits, top pages that people enter on, top pages people exit on.

To get info about a certain page, click on Content Drilldown under Content and find the page you wanna look and and click the page you want and you get the details for that particular page

Just click Entrance Keywords in right column of that page, but will only show google I believe as it is GOOGLE Analytics

Also to get traffic sources, click Entrance paths from the right menu also
