Analytics and Alexa API usage

Hello,

I'm creating a website, where users will post their websites, but I need to implement the Google Analytics API and the Alexa API to display the info I need.

I was wondering if someone had any pointers, as I am pretty new at implementing third-party API's. I don't really know where to even start, so any tutorial, advice, or code for the 2 listed above would be SUPER awesome!

I haven't implemented these before but I think for Alexa you need this page http://www.alexa.com/siteowners/data

And Google is http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/

I haven't read that much on these but I think this should put you in the right path.

Thank you, but I'd gotten that far

Basically, I'm asking the user to enter w/e data needed about his analytics account, and then I need to run a PHP function to retrieve his website's data from analytics.

Any advice on how to go about doing this is welcome... I really dont even know where to start on this

 

oh and the alexa rank as well... I have the amazon key already. but idk what to do now :'(

I have an alexa API key with amazon, but Im having trouble incorporating it into my website

 

i think using alexa api ..you will be limited and the paid option is not the good one ...anyway if you have no idea about web analytics ..just search on hotscripts and you can find a good script ..if you gave money just hire programmer in freelancer or maybe in fiverr someone can make you script ...good luck
