    Two main things before optimizing any site:
    • Domain Age
    • Domain name correlation with the niche you are promoting
    All the rest, such as keywords, description, backlinks can be changed.
    Regarding backlinks, be sure they are related to the main content.

    Check all variables of Off page and ON page SEO in site. If a site loss a variable, optimize it.

    hi priscilla22,

    before you start your seo campaign you should 1st analyze the keyword that you would like to target.

    after you have done it try to look for few LIS keywords also.

    then your primary task would be to make your webpage on-page seo optimized with the main keyword.

    after the above steps are complete you will have to do off-page optimization & wait for your website to rank. :)

    Firstly need to check the Onpage like URL, domain redirection, title tag, meta tag, sitemap & robots theses are the things need to be check!

    In my opinion, the first thing you should look for is competition in your niche and your competitor's strategy.
    Just observe what your competitors are doing and how they are making their way to first rank.
    Craft a strategy, strong enough, to achieve good rankings.

    You should analyse all of the factors which helps to gain traffic and ranking for your website.

    - Basic / page rank, back links, indexpages, domain age
    - Keyword / analyse the meta data, keywords
    - back link analysis / analysie the back links
    - technical analysis / crawl errors, website errors, loading time
    - content analysis / content analysis
    - internal pages / internal linking, webpages analysis
