It seems clear that the Bush administration feels confident enough in Iranian incompetence to let this problem rest until the next U.S. administration takes office in 2008.

    Then it's Hillary's problem.

We need to pull out of Iraq and go to Iran, we actually need to be in Iran. Still not sure how we ended up in Iraq when places like Iran are around. =\

It was a strategic decision based upon geography, relative military capabilities, and geopolitical analysis.

Plan the two invasions yourself and you will come to the same conclusions that the Bush administration did.

when the USA was going to attack Iraq there were a lot of information that Iraq has a lot of nuclear weapons. The government of USA was showing a lot of places where it could be a lot of weapons. But they didnt find it. Why? It is obvious that USA wants to rule all the countries that have crude oil. Dont be fooled by governments.

Here's a quick little list I posted a while back that should get you started. It's a bit out of context, but you should be able to get the general concepts.

A Few Reasons Why Iraq Was Chosen as a Target (instead of Iran or other options)

    1. 1/3rd the population of Iran. Easier to manage within budget.
    2. We've already pretty much destroyed its armed forces. Much easier to win than a war with Iran.
    3. Unlike Iran, the government of Iraq is very unpopular domestically. The Iraqi's are ready for a new political direction.
    4. Geographically perfect. We can reach it by land and sea AND it borders our entire next round of targets.
    5. Everyone hates Saddam. The Muslims won't even stand up for that ruthless sonofabitch. The only friends he has are the French, Russians, and Germans whom he has bribed -- and they won't do anything but whine.
    6. We're already spending taxpayer dollars to enforce the no-fly zone.
    7. Saddam is completely ignoring the agreements he made which ended the last war -- giving us clear legal justification for an invasion.
    8. Iraq has an awesome population. Until The Baath Party took over in 1965, Iraq was doing very well. They are politically aware and ready for the future. As far as countries go, Iraq wouldn't be much more difficult to turn around than East Germany.

I hope they don't wait for a so called reason, such as Iran using it's nuclear weapons :(

Iran would probably get nuked if they used their nuclear weapons, but I don't think that the mullahs are afraid since they will probably leave the country by then.

May be Corporal Gtech likes to teach us about chemical WMD since Bush administration, CIA and NSA already stated that it did not exists in Iraq. I am sure you have a vast experience about chemical WMD since teenagers can produce some really nasty WMD in the high school lab. :p
