An update on Vmgo.com Search Engine

I think keeping it simple is the way to go. If you look at the popular sites out there, they are very simple to use and figure out. Look at twitter. It's so simple a 5 year old can figure it out. Craigs list too. Plain and simple. Google is the same way. The way to go is short, sweet and simple. Fast and accurate is a plus too. But vmgo will be as accurate as an engine can get so I have high hopes for it if I can scale it up so it can handle all the traffic. I think I can do it cheaply though.

Vmgo.com does have a few flaws that I am working on right now which will make it even better in the long run. I just got to find time to work on them.

Yeah, I had a couple mambers from DP give me some design tips from another thread about a year ago and it seemed to help alot seeing all the compliments I've been getting in this thread.

I am definately not a designer and I suck at color schemes but I hope it's a winner finally. Thanks for the compliments.

Traffic is up about 10% from last month. This is pretty cool. Average uniques per day is about 20,000 a day now. Last month vmgo averaged 16,000 a day. The server is straining a little so I am going to see if I can reduce some stress by condensing the html a little and makng the logo smaller.

 

How can one become a sponsor?

 

Any way you want. PM me your ideas on how you want to sponsor Vmgo.com and I will see what I can do for you. There are thousands of ways to be a sponsor, just pick one and pm me what you have done. Some ideas are links, articles, press releases, blog about vmgo.com etc... I'm open to anything.

If it works for you, it works for me. I just don't want it to cost you money and I don't want it to cost me money. It's just 2 sites doing something nice for each other. You know, like it used to be before goog...... HAHA!

 

If our listing needs updated, how can this be done?

Yeah, I agree about the recent searches. 95% of them are different languages and are porn related.

20.4% Indonesia
14.6% India
13.0% United States
7.1% Malaysia
6.4% Egypt

My USA traffic is slowly going up but it is mostly from other countries.
