(Still no EPN forum, so I fall back on what I know ) Leaving QCP and all that aside, what's your impression of eBay's Christmas sales? Judging by my VERY lacklustre sales (I don't mean earnings I mean actual sales in the transaction report) - which have been no better than any other month, maybe even a little worse - I would say that eBay has seen tragically poor Christmas sales this year, and frankly it's tempting to say they deserve it after their terrible treatment of affiliates and small sellers. Of course, my sales alone are not enough to judge by, but because I still have a certain number of people kindly sharing revenue with me through my plugin, I get a wide spread of sales in different niches etc. and the message across the board seems to be - an UNhappy Christmas for eBay...
I am no longer with ebay but I can tell you that my Amazon earning have greatly increased over that of last years season. I honestly believe that ebay is no longer the best for affiliate marketing. I won't be surprised to see their earning not meet expectations. They can blame the economy but I blame their new strategy.
eBay saw the Google greed model and tried to cash in. Check their stock and see if it worked after the 1st quarter earnings are reported.
ePN has always been a mega loser around December for me. I remember a magical December when they were still with CJ, and I was making around $100 US a day. I thought I might actually be onto something then... pfft.
Yeah, them was the days... Though you will still find members of the QCP fan club on the EPN forum claiming they've never had such amazing sales as this December. Possibly eBay is not people's first choice for buying Christmas gifts. Better for picking up people's white elephants in January! But I am still totally underwhelmed...
