An SEO Question: Unclickable Links

    here is something i want to ask,

    Lets say you put your url in plain text means its not clickable its just simple plain text.
    Will Search engine count it as your backlink?


    If not why?

    No, it doesn't count as backlink. Backlinks is clickable anchor text that refer to a website.

    no not @ all, search engines only count links they dont give importance to plain text, if it would be possible than every body would be happy, because they will randomly post their urls in nofollow blogs commentand could get well ranking.

    I will go with all, obviously not because its a broken link that is not live or hyperlink. It must be linked with the site so that, the site can be crawl by spiders.

    If it is in text, then how u r calling it as a Unclickable "Links"?????
