Whenever the subject of deindexed-sites comes up, examples are given of sites containing cloaking, doorway pages, links to bad neighbourhoods, spam and so on. I well understand the need to get rid of some of these sites. What I worry about is the size of the baby that has been thrown out with the bathwater. So here are two sites (both completely original content, written by me) that you might like to look at at explain to me why they are deindexed:

www.southofthedordogne.com 7 pages listed, rest (of about 80) are all supplemental.

www.france-renovation.com index page only is shown, no other pages listed. This site was bought as an expired domain, a reinclusion request submitted, and I was told there was no problem with the site but 6 months later not a page is shown.

Can someone please explain to me what the problem is with these sites? If there really is a problem I will try to resolve it.

    Thank you

    Hi Rasputin,

I had a look at this one.

    www.southofthedordogne.com

Although many of the pages are listed as supplemental using the site: command, when you visit these pages, they are still actually cached by Google. So IMHO, www.southofthedordogne.com is not being penalized.

Its a common phenomena and it do happens with many of my sites as well from time to time. I donnt think nothing to worry about it seriously, resubmit your sitemap.....
