An odd scenerio - need advice

It's nothing too complicated, but I'm not sure how to respond.

This guy from russia wants to place an order of $600 with me. I sent him an invoice via Paypal, but he said something wasn't working. He said:

So, I didn't know what he was talking about, but he wanted me to send him six invoices, each just under $100. So I did.

    He then replies:

He's having trouble making the payment and there's an obvious language barrier here. I can't understand what the problem is so I can't fix it. So he's proposing giving me his credit card info to place the order for him.

My question is: Should I do this? :)

Are there any steps I should take before I take his person credit card info? Do I need his signature? Or can I simply take his CC info and send a $600 payment to myself with it?

    Thanks in advance

There really isn't anything I should be skeptical about at the moment. His email is from a legitimate domain name from russian, and I also know about his organization.

If it's something to do with his paypal just tell him to close that one, and open a new one if he's having problems. I started having problems with credit cards and that's how I soved my problem.

Paypal may have restriction on the maximum amount. Think you should check that. Doing business with foreign people deserves extra care, lot of times they are fraud.

I would advise against making credit card payments to yourself using someone else's credit card, even if you have their 'permission'. Your client needs to contact Paypal customer service in order to clarify what the problem is exactly, and then work from there. Language barriers can make things difficult sometimes. However, it is important that you operate on the level, especially when dealing with $$$.
