an odd adobe photoshop problem

    I'm guessing/hoping some other people use PS...

    I got a new keyboard recently. everything works fine on it, including my control key. however, in photoshop, no key combos involving the control key seem to work.

    any idea what's wrong?

    when u want to use photoshop shortcuts u should turn the language into english (default) or to the same language of the PS version u have...

    Where would you change those settings? I don't see it in preferences or keyboard shortcut settings.

    yes thats right the windows language should match the PS one... coz i use arabic and when i turn the windows language into arabic i cant use PS shortcuts

    Photoshop CS changes the language settings at random times, sometimes resulting in file loss because CTRL-ALT-Z suddenly means "close file" instead of "undo", I've lost dozens of files like that.

    aha i guess that u r using a bad copy of PS... i once bought a bad acopy and it used to do such funny things...

    A bad copy ? it's a legal copy so I don't see what could be bad about it ?
