I'm a low profile webmaster, but not really. To be honest I'm sort of a usless internet Business planner on new types of websites. Here's my problem. I have the ability to come up with website idea's. Not just normal idea's though, but very well planned out sites that are amazing in uniquness. Surely out of the 11 site plans I've come up 9 of them would be internationally talked about. They would so cool that I'm sure everyone in the world would have to see the site, or everyone involved of the topic. I'm not talking aboiut some picture place or some slap together site. I'm saying like "ebay, lavalife, autotrader, that google earth thing, etc. The thing is I'm not no programmer and a few of these sites are not a walk in the park for designed. Some would require the skills of some pro that's a creator. Not only that but I feel overwelmed with how to go about actually taking the step to do it. Heck one of these site idea's actually takes a great deal of actual real life activity, another will need a computerized monitor system that functions on a line moving around. What can I do with these idea's do? I'm usful at a lot involved but I just don't got the skills to do it alone. Is there a place to search for a partner? How can I be secure to talk to someone about these idea and see what we can do about them?
Sounds like you need some Venture Capital, a business plan and a talented team. A large task, but rewarding enough.
That would definatly do the trick, but getting investors is just too much trouble because their is way too much conflict.
Investors are no different to partners... you are asking both to put something into the business in return for a share of the monies it makes. There is little difference on if this is cold hard cash or time as ultimately time = money. If they are fully planned ideas then there are plenty of investors/ business angels type sites for hooking up people with idea with people looking for businesses in which to invest time or money. As to stealing the idea.... there is very little you can do. NDAs are fairly useless for anything that isnt just corporate data and anti-competition agreements are equally exceptionally difficult to enforce unless you agree to pay the person(s) a full salary during the closed period - all they need to do is find a small spin on the idea and generally they can get away with it. This can be the advantage of getting funding rather than partners as most web developers or marketing people want to do just that and not run their own companies/ websites in different fields as it requires different skill sets etc. A partner however is a different beast as they are looking for business opportunities and so potentially are more prone to borrowing ideas.
If you have a thoroughly plan Idea, with some research done about why it will be a success and who your target audience is, then pm me and I might be able to help financially for a profit ofcourse.
