Hi, all. I have a site which is 6 months old. No bad SEO is used on this site. My site was ranking b/w 100 & 150 since it was up on its primary keyword. But from last 15 days there was a great change in my site ranking it was under 50 and improving continuously. But today when i checked it again it was again out of 100. I am not really getting how could it happen. If any body can suggest anything, would be really helpful.
i faced the exact situation last week. my website which was ranking 100+ ranked 36 and kept on fluctuating. finally it returned to its original position (100+)
just keep concentrating on seo work, you will get the result whatever you have done. Its nothing just google dance on your website .
You need to continue your SEO work on your site. Don't be nervous. It is G sometimes updating the result and your ranking will be improved soon.
Not sure Google itself knows what it is doing! I've had sites rank at one spot and then when I refresh the screen the site ranks at another spot. That fast! Although not as drastic a jump as you mentioned. All you can do is keep trying and follow SEO, adding content, get links, write well and hope you move up. I've had several sites that were obviously more SEOed and had a ton more good content than any site on the first page, and I can't get them better than #100. No ryme or reason to some of this.

yes dnt worry and concentrate more in off page i.e article submission, social bookmarking, press release and classified...
