AN Hosting...thoughts?

    I bought hosting at AN Hosting recently, has anyone else?

    They gave me two accounts, one at MidPhase for tickets and billing information, and the standard cpanel account. A little inconvenient if you ask me.

    Then they say the domain that I registered (the free one you get when purchasing hosting) would be active in one day. It's been 16 days and it is still inactive.

    I emailed them about the domain issue 11 days ago, still no reply.

    Seems I'm going to have an interesting year with AN Hosting.

    Well, having separate account for Ticket and Billing and Cpanel makes sense since the Ticketing and Billing is done at the company level but Cpanel is at the specific server level, I would take it that they have more than one server.

    Make sure that the domain name that comes free is registered in your name or else if you decide to move, they may hold your domain name hostage and prevent you from leaving them.

    If all else fails, you can try to contact them at http://www.webhostingtalk.com as they seems to be quite active there.
