An Experience I've Just Had with a Content Buyer

I recently put out an article offering my services at a very discount rate of $0.01/word for basic SEO articles for bulk work only. Let's not get into the pros and cons of offering such rates, we've all had the debate before.

Someone got in touch via IM to say that they needed a 24 maximum turnaround on every article for this price since it was so high (and they said high in capital letters, and throughout the conversation kept referring to this price as high).

Apparently the 'normal' price for native English writers on DigitalPoint is just over $0.007 per word. (Again let's not get into discussing rates)

I'm in sheer disbelief that content buyers actually think this price is ridiculusly high? And, of course, the rudeness of the individual.

    Rant over.

I got an e-mail last week quoting such rates for my service.

I thanked him for his interest. Then I told him to kiss my ass.

    Maybe I need an apple.
