An effort to list all link directories.

http://www.linkdirectories.org is making an effort to provide a list of all link directories under various categories.

This is a non-profit effort not run by a big company but by me ( not so significant) and this site does not and will not have any google ads or featured listings. Every directory submitted are same (even DMOZ).

We would like to make it a place where people can find link directories classified by its type/nature, so that they can directly go the directory of their choice and submit their links ( I remember the time I spent in searching for link directories).

So, if you are running a link directory, please do submit.

Thats a nice effort. Your directory link image seem to blend well atleast not ugly.

Thanks for supporting this. The response has been absolutely brilliant. Link owners like the idea of calculating ranks on a day to day basis as it helps them to be on top rank. So we are going to keep that as it is.

 

I submitted mine... The linkback has a white background clashing my theme. Anyway we can change background?

Resolved. Now the image now has neutral background and would take whatever the background used in the directory ( well, as long as the background color is same as the one used in the image). I would appreciate, if you could have look at your directory and confirm.

Well, from the outset yes. But in terms of principles NO. If you had noticed, correctly, there are few directories always appear at top ( such as Zorkk Directory, 100 Lists Website Directory, Clothes Directory - Clothing Online etc) in the mentioned site, however we are more for the cause than for the benefits or popularity. And dont forget that we dont run any form of ads or got links to any external sites, other than the ones submitted.
