An Easy Way to Write Articles

Those of you that are bum marketing using the free article sites as
well as posting to blogs and websites in a heavy way may want to
    consider Dragon Naturally Speaking.

I write a lot of articles and last week I bought the "Preferred" version
of Dragon and I can not believe that has helped me in my daily writing.

There is a small learning curve but once the software recognizes
your speech patterns you can bang an article out in just a couple of
    minutes.

I paid 184.00USD for Version 10 at a local store and instead of 10 - 15 articles daily, I am pounding out an average of 28 per day since I bought it.

It is a little pricey if you are not a hard bum marketer but if you are
into writing a lot of articles, it is well worth it.

I hear a lot of people are using DNS lately, but I don't think I'd ever be comfortable talking my articles out. Also, watched some vids on youtube about this- do you have to say "full stop" or something similar for every period. That seems like it'd get annoying.

I just say "period" to end a sentence. It works real well for me because I write the way I talk so it is very natural for me.

At the end of the article ( I use word to write) I say "tools", "spelling and grammar" and it checks that automatically. It also saves your article with a verbal command.

After I get some more capital I might try it out. Thanks for clearing that up though.

You can say "dot" too. Or train it to put a period for whatever sound you like.

You could train it to put a period if you say "Monkey" if you like :)

At least work would become more fun...

Nice. When I saw your title I had a feeling it was going to be Dragon. I have been putting it off. I used to have an older version but I never used it and haven't gotten around to trying it again.

Jericho - I had version 9 and was really disappointed. I used it about 3 times and put it on the shelf. Preferred Version 10 rocks and I am sorry I didn't buy it sooner.

Earlier this evening my wife took our dog for a walk.. I talked/wrote 3 articles while she was gone... 15 minutes tops.

I use the speech recognition software that comes with windows and it works great. I bought a little $9 mic from walmart and now I just speak my articles into notepad.

Thanks for the informative post about DNS. I am currently trying to sell articles and I have heard good things about this software.

even with it checking spelling and grammar its still going to take more time editing it personally yourself because of all the errors it makes...its really not worth the money or time...its a huge learning curve and for it to learn your voice to get most words right...dont waste your money!

I think its not a good idea.. Voice Recognition is not accurate with the current technology, so there are a lot of errors in every voice recognition system.. Even the latest ones.. So i dont think its worth that much money !

but what about formatting the article. DNS cannot format the article link some text goes bold, link , insetring pictures etc... while writing article your self you can do it once.

What about the accent? Does it work well with the native speakers of the English alone? What is the success rate of accent with American / British English as compared with that spoken in other parts of the globe like Asia, Australia?

I've so many good things about DSN and it's I'm putting it in my budget
for next month. It will really help me with my mini-business models.

I know some marketers who are putting out 30-35 articles a day because
they've gotten so comfortable with using the program.

I can see how speech recognition software would benefit a very active blogger, but it still seems like there would be a ton of editing to do. Does it speed you up that much, or does it just help to organize your thoughts?

It's an interesting concept, but I know that when I write I usually need to canvass the thought in several different ways before I write it down. It'd be a mess for me!

DNS is a great tool once you get it trained to recognize your voice. It really does speed things up.
