    Agreed and correct.

Uh lol yeah like every 3 to months. But I am sure you can be tempermemtal and take more than 6 months sometimes.

And when I read through the blog post, my 1st thought was OMG. If it only it was this simplified. But than I came back to Earth and thought its just serp results and no barring on my PR of my website. Darn, Darn, Darn that Google PR.

I burst out laughing when I read that, now offence to the person who posted this, but you really should research into things you are going to blog about, because it saves looking stupid. I'm sure Google's PR algorithm is a lot more complex than that since NO ONE knows how to predict it perfectly.

Under the circumstances I think we have been quite lenient - it is not often a new low level of bullshit is posted :p

I'm sorry, but this is simply incorrect. At one time, many, many years ago, PR may have been a major factor in SERPs. It is a non-factor today, IMHO.

As others have stated, PR is a measure of IBLs. An explanation is here: http://www.miswebdesign.com/resources/articles/pagerank-2.html

Did you answer it yourself. PR is ONE of the major factors, its not the ONLY factor.

PR affects search rankings (but other stuff like content influence it even more), but it doesn't always mean that pages with a higher PR get a higher result.
