This too may have been posted before, or some of you may already have seen this clip and associated story. It's about a lion cub bought in England at Harrods of all places in 1969 and rescued by a couple of American gentleman, who took the lion cub back to their home in the U.S. There, raising the lion cub in the local church grounds, the lion before long grew too large to keep so they decided to return the lion to it's native country, Africa, and to try to rehabilitate the lion called Christian back into the wild, with the help of George Adamson, who some of you may have heard of, a very unique and wonderful individual in his own right (and his wife Elisa). Christian, was successfully rehabilitated to the wild and went on to become the head of his own pride. Some years passed and the original two guys that had rescued him from England, decided to contact George with the hope of finding Christian once again, which they were told would be a near impossibility. However, they took the chance at going back to Kenya to see if they could locate Christian to see him just once more in his native habitat. This is the story of that reunion. Yeah its nice. Quite old as seen by the clothes/hair style of the two people I'd heard it before, and yeah its nice. Bound to bring tears to many peoples eyes
I was hoping for a twist in the Climax, something like, the lion attacked the two gentlemen, or maybe they found him, and the lion came to see his old masters with his flock... But there is no Climax here...
