I would like to set up affiliate programs for the 18 different products I've created (mostly comprehensive video tutorials). What would be the top 3 things that a super affiliate would look for in an affiliate program? a good sales page? the right price? ? ? ?
I think the most important is how the product converts? If the conversion ratio is good, as the product is perfect, then many people might like to join.
A product that will actually sell if we promote it. Its all about whether or not the affiliates can make money.
A good commission ofcourse, then any affiliate will look for whether the landing page is good. You might also want to provide an option to allow affiliate to directly take the customer to order page in case some one want to create a review page and presell the product. Any affiliate would also want to check if you are honest with your payout.
i guess the main thing is good commision it attracts a lot more than usual then a good sales page. i personally dont like those which are like 10 pages long,, small and simple can sometimes be better then ofcourse later u can send more information
Our criterea of 8 Golden Rules for selecting an affiliate program is always this. 1. Untapped Product (we don't want to compete with 5000 affiliates) 2. Different or Unusual Product (this always grabs attention) 3. Tangible Product (less chargebacks etc) 4. At least 30% commission per sale. 5. Products Price is over $50 (so higher commission potential) 6. The site we are promoting must always have excellent customer service. (if customers wait more than 12 hours for an email, why would they buy?) 7. Simple, straight to the point landing page. 8. 2 tier (so it is worth it to recruit others) That system is working for us.
