I am sorry velocity, you've asked that question before. I've been distracted removing my ads all night.

If you go to www.peachyga.com all of the sites I was advertising on are linked from there.

All I have been getting is PSA for the last hour or so.

Hey BNix, thank you so much for all of the great suggestions. I am pretty fed up with big corporations in general so I just have very low expectations from google.

I just don't have time to analyze the TOS and then crawl to them begging for the hundred bucks they owe me. I am sorry if I sound bitter, I am trying really hard not to be.

Well ... if only you'd read the TOS in the first instance, yeah? ;) It really isn't something to be getting bitter about. Shrug shoulders, learn lesson and move on, or contact google and find out what is happening. :)

    Thanks Sara.

After a good nights sleep I am pretty sure I know what the problem is (note: I still haven't found an email from them). I suspect the problem is with the way I promote my sites.

My boys and I generally go to some kind of event and I take pictures. Since we are very friendly by nature we strike up conversations with people and tell them about our website and tell them that their pictures will be there.

It's really awesome because we've made a lot of important business and social contacts by doing that. We were just trying to promote our adsense and it was really working, but beyond promoting adsense we found a lot of new customers for my wife's store, some insiders that have helped my daughter get college scholarship offers and entrance opportunities, a high level exec at IBM that offered my daughter an internship, a great mechanic for the cars, a historian that gave us a private tour of a civil war site (of course I forgot my camera that day).

So all of that sounds good, but I think I got into trouble because every couple of weeks some body would come up to me and say something like, "I clicked on a bunch of ads for you" and I would be like nooooooooo. But it's hard to get mad at people when they are just trying to help you. Also they all assured me that they were legimately reading all of the ads, but I don't really know if they were or not.

I guess the fundemental problem with my approach is that I was trying to promote my sites by being nice to people. A few kind hearted but misguided people are always going to try to help out in bad ways. Google adsense isn't robust enough to automatically deal with visitors that have just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

With all of that whining behind me I have to look at this from a realistic perspective. I usually made around $100 every three months from adsense (but it was growing), but in the last year this networking method helped us find at least a dozen new customers for my wife's store, an introduction to a high level member of the admissions boards to one Ivy League College and to introductions to high officials at two different top 5 engineering Universities. Several behind the scenes tours of cool things. Dozens of private training sessions in basketball, lacrosse, baseball... The boys have been invited to several pool parties and have made a lot of new friends.

I guess this is one of those sour grapes types of posts. I am trying to justisfy all of the hard work I put into those pages. I am like the fox in the parable that says, (those grapes were probably sour anyways as he walks away from the grapes he couldn't jump up high enough to reach).

I just HATE failure, the fact that I couldn't make this adsense stuff work for me just DRIVES ME CRAZY, and I have a real problem with giving up on this. I guess I could go beg google for another chance, but I just can see how I will ever prevent people from "helping me out".

So, Sara, as you suggested I am shrugging my shoulders and moving on... You know those grapes were probably sour anyways ;)

I don't think you got banned. Just e-mail them and ask them what's going on. They usually answer pretty quickly.

In addition, Google reserves the right to terminate without notice any account that has not generated a sufficient number of valid clicks on Ads or Referral Buttons or valid impressions of Ads (in each case as measured by Google) for a period of two (2) months or more. Upon termination of participation of any Site in the Program or termination of this Agreement for any reason, Sections 3, 6 through 10, and 14 through 17 shall survive termination.

Read the above reason. As far as my experience goes I have come across people whos account has been cancelled without an email and the above explanation was given by Google later.

LOL, I guess I fear further rejection. I've been on adsense for two years and getting thrown off of the adsense band wagon this way is a real bummer.

But I did email them it will be very interesting to see what they have to say.

    Thanks for the suggestion :)

My wife found the message on a computer at the shop. Last year I set up Opera to read and remove emails from my email server. Someone fired up Opera in the store yesterday and snagged all of the emails that were on the server off.

She read the email to me and it basically said that my account has been disabled because of bad clicks. It said that the money collected was going to be refunded to the advertisers.

It looks like the email was sent around 5:30 yesterday.

Thanks for all of the help everybody.

What's scary is I never get a single check. It has been 6 months. I was quite late in inserting the pin.

I've heard that google is more tolerant toward webmaster that have received checks. I wonder why?

I did see some unusual traffic some long time ago. However, I didn't thought that's significant.

Oh well, what should I do?

    Hey hardjoko,

That's a really good point. I was telling a couple of my adsense buddies (Lakshmi and Matt) about my banning. They were both very scared and they were desperate to find out why I was banned. Once I really started thinking about it I realized that I hadn't gotten a check in months. My guess is that they do their banning right before they're about the cut a check so I could have been banned for something I or someone else had done months ago. So I really couldn't give them any information that wasn't anything other than a WAG.

    Good luck hardjoko
