Amusing Bad Word Filter

I'd like to setup an automatic replacement of some of the bad words in a forum. Rather than replacing and censoring these words with a *** I was thinking to replace them with some erratic words which then could form a funny sentence if one used bad words in his posts. Is there such a list? It does not need to be complete a draft would also do.

 

What do you mean, what kind of funny words?

 

Well I don't have an exact vision of how it should look like... If someone in a sentence used a bad word it would get replaced by another which in the end would transform a post into a funny sentence.

Not a good idea, doing that is just as unprofessional as swearing.

 

Is this for a forum?

If so, there should be a filter that allows you to do that built into vB.

Yeah, theres a feature like this built into DP, you can have the rude word replaced with the new word just like you said . I think it's quite a good idea, but probably not suitable for a think forum, as mentioned earlier, it's quite unprofessional.

 

Just replace them with scientific/Latin words

eg Go and have a sexual intercourse with yourself.
