i think if you 100K+ then your pr must be 5 unless your all pages have many outbound links. I have not seen any such site have pr 3 or lower with 100K+ pages

I've seen a Polish site with almost 300k pages indexed and it only has PR2. Number of pages indexed has nothing at all to do with PR. PR is about backlinks. Indexed pages is about the content. And only about the content. If there's a link on one page to the next, spiders will follow them all, eventually.

Exactly, indexed pages hardly have anything to do with PR. However if you have interlinked them well they should provide you with good "internal backlink juice" and help SEO and PR in the long run

Reason i asked is because when i search for similar sites like mine those with the highest pagerank have the most indexed, example pr 4 sites have 100k pr5 sites have 500k pr8 20 million...

Google has no problem finding my pages as it crawls over 50,000 new pages every day, the ones that do get added seem to cause another to be removed, so if 15000 pages get added today 15000 older pages get removed causing me to stay stuck at 66000 indexed pages, my site is 4 months old with pr3, has about 20 million pages of content that should get added if i could figure out how.

im not looking to get all my pages indexed right away but it does seem like when i stop getting backlinks my indexed amount doesnt move.

I have 221k page indexed and I'm PR3. So, you're not the only one facing this "problem". I actually do not call it a problem, traffic is all that matters, and traffic is good .... for me at least!

How many of the backlinks you are getting are deep links? For large sites, deep links really help with indexing...

"my site is 4 months old with pr3"

Your site is new. I suggest you wait for some time. And build backlinks.

Try to get some back links from high PR pages. This will help in indexing more of your site pages.

I have to disagree with some of the posts. If I remember correctly, PR had and probably still has impact on number of indexed pages per site and to some degree to crawl rate. Google index has not unlimited storage and every spammer can generate a site with as many pages as they want. By not indexing pages with too low PR, they keep spam out.

Also, each page "generates" a bit of PR and just by having 100k pages in index, all linking the root of your site would give the root page non-negligible PR (because it would have these 100k backlinks). This may be the reason, sites with high number of pages in index have high PR. Of course, the toolbar PR is not accurate...

Pr does not relate to indexed pages...

Maybe it did not relate back in 2008( how would I know? I have only done SEO since 2000..) but it does in 2010. Besides fresh unique content being added frequently, high PR sites are crawled more often.
