Amnesty International exposes israeli war crimes in Gaza

Israel committed war crimes and carried out reckless attacks and acts of wanton destruction in its Gaza offensive, an independent human rights report says.Hundreds of Palestinian civilians were killed using high-precision weapons, while others were shot at close range, the group Amnesty International says.

Its report also calls rocket attacks by Palestinian militants war crimes and accuses Hamas of endangering civilians.

The 117-page report by Amnesty International says many of the hundreds of civilian deaths in the conflict "cannot simply be dismissed as 'collateral damage' incidental to otherwise lawful attacks - or as mistakes". It says "disturbing questions" remain unanswered as to why children playing on roofs and medical staff attending the wounded were killed by "highly accurate missiles" whose operators had detailed views of their targets.


Lives were lost because Israeli forces "frequently obstructed access to medical care," the report says. It also reiterates previous condemnations of the use of "imprecise" weapons such as white phosphorous and artillery shells. The destruction of homes, businesses and public buildings was in many cases "wanton and deliberate" and "could not be justified on the grounds of military necessity", the report adds.


"All of those things occurred on a scale that constitutes pattern - and constitutes war crimes," Donatella Rovera, who headed the research, told the BBC.


The document also gives details of several cases where it says people - including women and children posing no threat to troops - were shot at close range as they were fleeing their homes in search of shelter.


The Amnesty report says no evidence was found that Palestinian militants had forced civilians to stay in buildings being used for military purposes, contradicting Israeli claims that Hamas repeatedly used "human shields".

Funny how you seem to ignore that they found that the terrorist group Hamas commited war crimes with the constant rocket fire into Israel which led to Israel's defense efforts to stop those rocket attacks.

Who really cares what these groups say anyway? You only want to use these types of report when they are in your favor by you happily turn a blind eye to every atrocity committed in the name of Islam. Nobody cares about this anymore - your boys have cried wolf too many times when they themselves were to blame by firing rockets into Israel in the first place.

Here is a tip. If you don't want your country attacked, don't fire rockets into your neighboring country. Most civilized people don't need that explained to them. Hamas is a bunch of terrorist thugs who don't care about the lives of Jews or Muslims.

in 1982 Israel used white phosphorous against civilians in Lebanon, when the Lebanese complained about its use, Israel first denied it, until it's been discovered on two Lebanese babies bodies by foreign journalists, then they admitted it.

in 1973, when Israel shot down a civilian Libyan airliner, which lost its way in a sand storm, Israel first said we issued a warning before shooting it down, but later when the black box showed no warnings, they admitted they were lying as usual.

in 1956 when Ariel Sharon and 101 unit, planted bombs in civilian houses and destroyed them on their inhabitants, Israel first denied it, and even cried anti-Semitic, later after been faced by proofs, they admitted it.

in 1953, when Israel bombed British, American, and Egyptian targets in Cairo and Alexandria, Israel first denied it, later when they been faced by proofs, they admitted it.
