Americans are not stupid.

Yep, people tend to get defensive when their country is "attacked" verbally. But ardit, regardless of the point you were trying to make, you kind of proved your lack of understanding of the World by saying this, and I quote:

From my experience Americans are just dead people with no sense of humor and your 5% of population of intelligent people controls the remaining 95%.

Microsoft might had been started by an American but there are hundreds of people from diffrent nations of the world working there......smart people.

I think this has just really gotten out of hand. It's not only offensive but absolutely hurtful not only to myself but I'm sure many others from both sides. This just really is immature behavior and this isn't going to prove anything at the end just more complaining and arguing. No one is better than the other person and I'm sure every country has it's stupid people and that's the bottom line.

I think that's ridiculous, I mean, there are dumb people everywhere in the world,
I'm from Brazil and have friends that lived on the US for years, I do not consider them stupid at all

 

Just one more thing I'd like to add. A lot of this "Americans are stupid" idea was not created by outsiders, but by YOU. Just check Michael Moore's movies and how he portrays American society, or Borat (well, true, he's not American, but I bet you were laughing your ass off when you saw that redneck saying he hates gays in the movie").

So when asking yourself "why do people think americans are stupid" you should really be asking yourself "why do we portray ourselves as stupid". Personally, I know a lot of Americans that are great people and I hate it that what they struggle to achieve gets overshadowed by this distorted image created by the media.

anyways one thing i like about america is that they attract talent from all over the world by paying them huge $$.

Look at the example of India

40% graduates of IIT(most prestigious institutes of india and world) move to US after their graduation to work as the CEO for american firms.......

The thing is most of the intelligent people you find in America are either immigrants or are of foreign origins.........

Anyway you said americans started Microsoft,facebook etc.......

Then dude it were the Chinese,Indians and Greeks who invented Maths and most concepts of science without which there would have been no calculator possible, leave the facebook aside

Americans are stupid because they believe that their country is the strongest in the world. For example some Americans came to study in my university (exchange program) and they tried to make the rules in my country and even didn't try to live as we do. I hate them actually. They believe that everyone has to act just like they do.

 

Is this bullshit going to stop or what?
