People think Americans are stupid because Americans have a reputation of being a stupid nation. If you've ever been outside the country, you'd realize that a big portion of American resembles a wasteland of ignorance and obesity.

You are right in the fact that companies like Google, Microsoft, Myspace and Facebook were founded by Americans. Nobody is arguing that ALL Americans are dumb, it is just that from an international point of view, the average American comes off as a retard.

I'm not sure that General Motors is #1 on the Fortune 500, but if you take a look at that list, almost every company is American. General Motors was one of the big 3 car companies that were founded before you were even born, it dominated the automotive industry which allowed it a HUGE head start over more recent auto makers. Furthermore, if you take a look at General Motors as a company, you'd know that it isn't heading anywhere.

And for why people want to go to America, because it is an easy country to get into and an easy country to start a life. America is a great nation compared to many countries that live in poverty, but just because poor people want to seek refugee there doesn't make it a #1 country.

I'm sure if you asked Bill Gates or Steve Jobs what they thought of American they wouldn't have only nice things to say. Just because companies like Microsoft were founded in American doesn't give reason to boycott their product just because we think American sucks.


And your statement about how American being the number 1 country in the world just proves how much of nothing you know and how well you can regurgitate what they tell you. It proves how little you know about the world as a whole.

First of all, Canada is a bigger country than American, check a map.

America is no where near the greatest country in the world, and don't you find it ironic that only Americans believe that? The only reason why American doesn't think of Canada, the only reason you think we are invisible, is because American's isolate themselves from the world thinking and believing you are number 1.

If you educated yourself about America's problems, or what really goes on underneath the covers of your so called 'great nation' you'd quickly realize that the whole world is falling apart, and America is in the lead.

As for not even thinking about other countries, that only enforced the point that Americans are selfish and self thinking. We live in a global community, it is called Earth. If you aren't willing to think about other nations how is it possible that you even think about your neighbors down the street.

Walmart is a monopoly and a bully. It purchases products from under developed nations, which is fine, but they bully them into selling to them at THEIR price. So if they don't sell them at low low prices, the manufacturers going out of business, even tho they are making next to nothing to begin with.

As for slavery he is referring to the penny/hour jobs in Asian. But the wages and cost of living in those countries are different, so it really isn't slavery. Just really really shit work for shit pay.
