My husband and I are both Army. He is in Iraq now. We were not from poor families and just so you know, most people in the service are not.

I don't really care what anybody thinks about this war, the reasons for it, or whether or not they like Bush. You don't have the whole story unless you've been there. You cannot believe the horror stories those people tell.

For all of you in other countries.. our media is about as Bush hating as the liberals. Understand you will only ever hear the negative about anything American until Bush is out of office. Their hate for him has overridden their love for their country. Want to know the true story of the war? Ask a solider who's lived it and then decide if it's a mistake.

A few friends of mine are there. My heart goes out to each one of you. You know, no matter what I think of how it started, I know I'll support each one of you till it ends. It's really not about politics it's the fact that I think the people in the military are some of the best people we have in this country.

    Who cares? I don't.

There's far worse things going on in the world. I didn't want my tax money to go towards building roads and bridges thousands of miles away in a country which I never heard of, I didn't care about, I will never visit and doesn't share anything in relation to my country, not even religion.

Why am I spending money on little Abduls education system and healthcare when ours is far from perfect?

I used to think like you, 'at least Saddam was taken down, man that guy was a threat', but then I thought 'actually, was taking down some guy who killed a few thousand people years ago really worth hundreds of our soldiers and tens of billions of £?' I don't think so.

I would make sure it would get in the hands of a few of the right people - people that deal with this kind of anti american stuff ...

I mean its one thing to bash bush but its another to come in here being disrespectful to the soldiers and to the americans and make comments like this which in my opinion is a threat against america

I take that post as a threat

I am all for free speech but dont tell me your going to hurt a fellow american or even another person ... I dont care to hear that .. I feel bad for all people who are hurt in this situation.

    Its sad

But I feel its wrong to post this type hatred

I was meaning to report it to some people I know that are really protective over our troops ... and too some other people I know , but now I am seeing

I may have misunderstood - I thought he was saying this - If not please forgive me - It can be deceiving how it was posted .. and so I thought he was saying this ... my misunderstanding if its the case

Sore spot for me about the killing stuff - really wish no one but the politicians and the heads of religion fight and left people live

You make me laugh ... thanks

Try to control your hype, it creates lots of misunderstanding.
These are the words spoken from the former minister of information in Iraq.

The post is ... to point out what is/was going on with information and truth over there and shows a similar mindset than the one who started this thread.

I don't understand why Americans are making whole world fool to get oil out of iraq. What was bad in Saddam ?????
His penis was sharp enough to tear Bush's ass ?
Where is weapons of mass destruction in iraq?
Now there is same fever to kill innocent iranians and America is shouting for Nuclear Weapons Nuclear Weapons Nuclear Weapons Nuclear Weapons

If America has some problem with Iran then why not makes its own defence more powerful than Iran's attacking power ?

America is also known as democrazy champion then why Bush is supporting military dictator of Pakistan ?

    :D:D:D

Nokia, your post is stupid but I will answer it anyway.

Saddam was dreaming about an imperial Iraq and tried to enforce them. Also, he hated the kurds and the shia muslims. He also killed members of his own family. Nice man!

Hided somewhere in Iraq or smuggled out.

America is already than Iran more powerfull considering their air superiority. As for defense, the best defense is attack and destroy Irans Shahabs. The invasion of Iraq was much about destroying Saddams "attacking power".

How do you define a "democrazy champion"?
Anyway, to get a strong foundation of allies, you need to accept as many as possible. Democracy can therefore not allways come into account. You have to be realistic.
