    Ahh.. another one that cracks me up is "aluminium" instead of "aluminum."

    But the Brits probably have a stronger argument for "jag-u-ar" vs. "jag-war."

    I gotcha. I know all the other ones as those chromium, etc...never ever heard aluminium though. Even by chemistry teaches who insist on proper pronunciation - and do not see the humor in pv=nrt (pivnert!) at all :)
