Hello, Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have read earlier posts but still need more clarification. Thank you.

Does the physical location of a server matter regarding SERPS on google?

My hosting / company sever is located in Canada. Im going from a dot CA url to a dot COM. I’m hoping to help my SERPS and am wondering now if I should also move my dot COM to a U.S. based server?

I noticed ( with a .co.uk belonging to a client ) some months that it didnt affect SERPS on Google ( seemed that you just needed a .co.uk or to be hosted in the country for Goolge.)

BUT Yahoo SERPS for yahoo.co.uk were way out because server was hosted in Germany..

When I did a search on yahoo.de , there were the results..

So I would imagine ( even for performance.. ) that you're best to stay in the country that you think you're most clients will come from.. Good Old USA!
